Growth Potential

What is in a Name?

After spending my career with a job title ascribed to me by the organization I work for, I am now freed and challenged to convey a description of my role that has a meaning and value.  As a sole proprietor, Owner, Founder, or Chief Executive inspire me not at all.

I have worked with hundreds of organizations with varied missions, cultures, and approaches.  I have embedded my training and technical assistance services in “best practices,” and legal and regulatory compliance.  I have helped organizations define roles and responsibilities and build structures and systems.  I believe that all these are vital to sustain organizational growth and impact.

The overarching lesson is that there is no single approach to governance, planning, management, or supervision that is right for all organizations at all times.    One thing I love about this work is that I am continually learning and sharing what I learn with the organizations that I work with.   This allows organizations to explore different approaches until they find or create ones that resonate and can grow within the people, values, and culture of their organization.

When the box requires me to provide a title, Cross-Pollinator is my response.
